Looks of precision

I received complimentary for testing from Influenster two box of Q-Tip precisions. Precision tips are much better than regular Q-Tips because they have a pointy tip that is able to reach in small spaces and create fine lines that is just not possible with regular Q-Tips. The precision Q-Tips have forever earned a spot in my bathroom!

Whitening whites

I received a complimentary tube of Luster Premium Whitening Toothpaste from Influenster and it is amazing. First, most whitening toothpaste leaves an awful chlorine taste in your mouth, not Luster it leaves your mouth minty fresh! Second, instant results are shown my teeth went from yellowish to shiny in a matter of days. Cupcake city

I have volunteered to donate 300 mini cupcakes to the Relay for Life walk and a local art show. I spent my day test baking different flavors and icing with part success. The first flavor I made was homemade lemon with vanilla icing. The lemon cupcakes turned out fabulous, the icing not so much. I need to find a recipe for thinking up my icing so it don't just fall apart when it is piped one. The second cupcake I made was Pink Lemonade. The cake was moist an very pink lemonady, however I believe it was entirely too sweet, especially with the lemonade icing. I have decided to make the lemon cupcakes along with chocolate for the donations. Simple, tasty and easy to make.

This is us now

Two years ago I walked into a bar for a good friends birthday party and saw the cutest little guy ever. He was dancin in the mosh pit and had the brightest blue eyes I could not pull away from. Short and spunky I kept my eye on him all night long but always too shy to say hello.  Fate had it's was and we ended up being at the same house after the party my heart melted a little and I had a smile from ear to ear. I finally worked up the courage to introduce myself and talk for awhile it was the highlight of my night. When I left I was pretty sure we would never have contact again and I was a little sad since he was so funny and adorable. Again fate had us in mind and we became friends talking all the time online and on the phone until it graduated to hang out watching gory B-Rated movies until the wee hours of the night laughing and having a ball. Month passed by of us being good friends and then we finally started dating on May 25,2010. It has been the best journey every! We are best friends, lovers, and each others rock. Together we fight the world and don't let anyone drag us down. I am very happy to have him by my side. I support him through everything he needs and he does the same for me! I believe this is a relationship that will last until the very end!!

Reggio Emilia Education

As everyone might already know I plan to be a preschool teacher. My dream job would be working in a Reggio Emilia center full of wonderful children with awesome parents. The Reggio approach is simply amazing it allows the children to think for themselves and the teachers to build a curriculum based off what the children are interested in. The environments of the facilities are amazing with so much room for children to explore and use their imagination.

 

Conforming to society

I will be going to the shop today because that is what I say!

I feel like in this day in age everyone is doing things because "it is in style." Everyone must load up on the latest gossip, get the newest piece of technology, wear fashionable clothes, and do what everyone else is doing because they are afraid to be unique and left in the dark. Since when has it been cool to be a carbon copy of your best friend or a famous star? I was never the one to be like everyone else, in school everyone doubted me and made fun of me because I was the "freak." What made them say that about me, the way I dressed and my I don't care what you think about me attitude. This is how I feel everyone is now a days (refer to above photo), no one is able to think for themselves and that is very sad. I believe I would much rather be hated for being myself than loved for being someone else!
